GROUND TRANSPORTATION
The hotels/villas in Hilton Head Island do not provide shuttle service to patrons arriving at the Hilton Head Island Airport. Most arriving passengers have pre-arranged rental cars or take a taxi upon arrival. All rental cars, of the five on-site companies, are within 200 feet of the terminal building. Taxi cabs line up at the taxi stand (uponexiting the building, the taxistand is on the right) for each scheduled airline arrival.
Guests arriving via private aircraft can call a taxi upon arrival or make their own rental car reservations. However, general aviation customers are encouraged to make their rental car reservations through the FBO, Signature Flight Support.
