Training Division
Here at Beaufort County EMS. All field personnel are required to attend monthly In-service training. Employees who successfully complete all required In-services within their certification period are recertified through South Carolina DHEC without additional cost to the employee. This constant monthly review and training enables our employees to be up to date on new and modern techniques in emergency medical care.
Paramedic Training
We pay the cost of tuition and books for paramedic training done through the LowCountry EMS Regional Training Office, and arrange the employee's work schedule around the class schedule. We do not pay the employee's time in paramedic class.
