Buckwalter Regional Park and Recreation Center - This complex is located in The Town of Bluffton and is also a Town Park developed and maintained by the County. Site Offerings: One brick building with two regulation basketball courts, two men's lockers rooms, two women's locker rooms, two storage rooms, one family restroom, reception area/office, six offices, one conference room, kitchen/concession area and one office restroom. Skate park with covered pavilion and benches. Three section skate ramps for beginner, intermediate and advanced. One large trog bowl with shallow and deep end, hubba ledge, two tier rail ledge, pump dump, step up, fly-out train bank, half pipe, two tier grind ledge, grass gap with handrail, roller and snake run. Chaplin Community Park - Located off William Hilton Parkway between Burkes Beach Road and Singleton Beach Road. This complex is owned and was developed by The Town of Hilton Head and is maintained by the County.
Site Offerings: Three soccer fields (one with lights and two without lights). One baseball field with available 320' fencing, 70' maximum bases and lights. One outdoor basketball court with lights (these lights are on a timer that is turned on by the user). One large tennis center (operated by the Island Recreation Center). Six block buildings - one concession and four women's and men's restrooms. Beach parking, outside shower, one picnic pavilion and two dog parks (one small and one large).

Upstairs - One large open space for scorekeeping and announcing and one storage closet. Three baseball fields, three score boards, six batting cages with lights, one regulation soccer field with lights, one playground, metal maintenance building, open meadow for community use and pavilion with cages.

One small playground, two batting cages and two sets of restrooms. Two block buildings, one for maintenance equipment and one with a storage closet and a concession area and a small covered area in the middle for a picnicking.

Oscar J. Frazier Park (Shults Park) - This complex is owned by The Town of Bluffton. It was developed and is maintained by the County. The complex originally named Shults Park was later renamed after the late Oscar J. Frazier.

Upstairs - One small open space for scorekeeping and announcing. Passive Parks

The purpose is to assure that the Property will be retained in perpetuity, predominantly in its natural, scenic and wooded or open condition, as the case may be; to permit Passive Recreational and Educational Uses (as hereinafter defined) of the Property by the general public; and to prevent any use of the Property that will significantly impair or interfere with the conservation, historic, archeological and open space values of the Property. The conservation of the Property will yield a significant public benefit because there will be: public recreational access to the Property; which includes historic and archeological features; and conservation of wildlife habitat, for present and future generations. This Declaration of Conservation Restrictions imposes limitations and affirmative obligations on the Declarant the purpose of which include retaining or protecting the natural, scenic and open space values of the Property; assuring its availability for open-space use; protecting natural resources; maintaining and enhancing the air and water quality in the areas and preserving the historical, archeological and cultural aspects of the Property.

Camp St. Mary's - Camp St. Mary is a 10-acre site located off of Hwy 170. It was purchased by the County from the Catholic Church. It was once used for summer education religious camps.

Pinckney Colony Preserve - Pinckney Colony Preserve is a 38-acre park located on the corner of Pinckney Colony Road and Highway 278 in Bluffton, South Carolina. It contains 27-acres of freshwater wetlands.

Okatie Regional Park - Okatie Regional Park is a 148-acre park with 2,500 linear feet along the Okatie River. It includes marsh, maritime forest and high ground. It is located on the corner of Highway 278 and McGarvey's Corner.
