Title VI Civil Rights


Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, as amended, states that public agencies are required to ensure that no person is excluded from participation in, denied the benefit of, or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, religion, or language.  The County Council of Beaufort County is committed to ensuring full compliance with Title VI and its related statutes.
