Mission Statement

The Beaufort County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Department (BCADAD) exists to provide resources and opportunities for all Beaufort County citizens:

  • To receive affordable, accessible, high quality care and treatment services.
  • To reduce the negative results (personal, social, health, economic, and legal) resulting from alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, abuse or addiction.
  • To coordinate care and treatment resources with other state and local governmental service agencies in our efforts to create a healthier and safer Beaufort County.
  • To assist and support efforts to envision and choose options for greater personal growth, life fulfillment, and happiness.
