Boards and Committees

To advocate for individuals with disabilities and special needs who are served by the Beaufort County Disabilities and Special Needs Department; to provide assistance and advice to the Beaufort County Disabilities and Special Needs Department staff concerning matters of policy; and to promote community awareness of Beaufort County Disabilities and Special Needs Department programs and services.  

  • Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m.
  • Meetings last approximately one hour.
  • Meetings are held in the Beaufort Office, 100 Clear Water Way, Beaufort, SC.
  • A knowledge of one's community, developmental disabilities, and the private sector is desired.
