To hear and decide appeals by an aggrieved party where it is alleged that there is error in an order, requirement, decision or determination made by the Zoning and Development Administrator or other county officials in the enforcement of Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance, and the 1994 South Carolina Comprehensive Planning Act.

To hear and decide appeals for variances from the requirements of the Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance.

To hear, consider, and approve or disapprove application for Special Use Permits.

  • Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m., except for the months of November and December.
  • Meetings last approximately two hours.
  • Meetings are held in Council Chambers of the Administration Building.
