Board of Elections and Registration Board Meeting -- POSTPONED

The Beaufort County Board of Elections and Registration board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2014 has been postponed until further notice.

Absentee Precincts in Beaufort and Bluffton Open Monday, October 6, 2014

The Beaufort County Board of Elections and Registration office will open for In-Office Absentee Voting for the November 4, 2014 Statewide General Election
beginning 9 am, Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Beaufort Office, 15 John Galt Road, Beaufort, SC and at the Bluffton Office, 61-B Ulmer Road, Bluffton, SC
through November 3rd. Both absentee polling locations will be open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Monday, November 3, 2014, absentee
polling locations will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Voters are required to present one of the following forms of current and valid photo identification at the polls: S.C. driver’s license, S.C. Department of Motor
Vehicles identification card, S.C. Voter Registration card with photo, U.S. Passport, or Federal Military identification with a photo.

Now in Effect -- New Photo ID Requirements!

New voter photo identification requirements are in effect.  Please have one of these five photo IDs ready to vote:

  • S.C. Driver's License
  • ID Card issued by S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles
  • S.C. Voter Registration Card with Photo
  • Federal Military ID
  • U.S. Passport
