Salary: $12.03 hr

ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK** (Treasurer’s Office)*: Research and identify issues/exceptions such as, but not limited to, payments, refunds, and billing charges. Manages exceptions relating to the collection of tax payments, including but not limited to returned checks and refunds. Tasks include but are not limited to: utilizing technology to perform assigned tasks, quality customer service, and resolving problems and issues relating to tax payments.


Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three year previous experience involving office administration, customer service, cashiering, accounting/bookkeeping
  • Knowledgeable in the use of computer operations, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Able to use reason to perform mathematical calculations
  • Strong communication and works well in a team environment
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license 

*This position serves at the pleasure of an elected official.*


**Candidates considered for this position will be given a practical examination to demonstrate the required level of communication, math, and computer proficiency.
