Under direct supervision of Recreation Center Supervisor and Recreation Leader, responsible for transporting participants to and from various recreation programs via bus or passenger van, and assisting with recreation programs as needed.  Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of assigned vehicle. Performs related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two years experience driving a large bus.
• Must possess and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license with good driving record. School bus driver’s certificate preferred.
• Basic communication, comprehension and math skills required.

All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment. Employment is contingent upon clearing both the drug screening and background investigation. EOE.
