22: To Kill a Mockingbird. This highly acclaimed motion
picture is
based on Harper Lee's semi-autobiographical novel set in a
small
Southern town.

29: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In order to survive,
Arthur Dent hitches a ride on a passing spacecraft. He discovers
that everything
one needs to know can be found in one book. The novel's author
is
Douglas Adams.
February
5: War of the Worlds. We follow one American family
who is
fighting for survival against all odds as Earth is being invaded
by war
machines from another world. Starring Tom Cruise, this is
the retelling
of H.G. Wells classic.

12: Frankenstein. The most famous horror film of all
time. When
Dr. Frankenstein attempts to create life out of the organs
of dead bodies,
a grotesque pitiful monster is born. The novel is by Mary
Shelly.
