Introductory session with Ramsey Foulke. Practice Tae Kwon Do for sport,

Read It and Eat--Tuesday, October 10, 5:00-6:30
Read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Meet to discuss the book and
eat food from the British Isles prepared by our members.
Open to Teen Advisory Board Members.

A Murderous Melodrama--Saturday, October 21, 2:00 p.m.
Did our hero, Trent Tanner, meet his tragic end at the hand of a dastardly
villain? Help us solve this interactive mystery. Prizes and refreshments.

Scrapbooking--Tuesday, November 14, 5:00-6:30
Learn the art of memory making with Trisha Campbell. Bring your personal
photos and learn how to create a scrapbook for gift giving.

Scrabble Tournament--Saturday, December 9, 2:00 p.m.
Are you a Scrabble superstar or a beginner? Come and play Scrabble at
any level and have fun. Pizza will be provided and prizes awarded.

Read It and Eat--Tuesday, December 12, 5:00-6:30
Read Darkhenge by Catherine Fisher. Meet to discuss the book and eat
food from Ireland prepared by our members.

Book to Movie Series: Read a Movie Watch a Book
Mondays, January 8, 22, 29, 2007 & Mondays, February 5, 12, 19, 2007
@ 3:30 to 5:00. OPEN TO ALL TEENS. Free movie & food!
FEATURED MOVIES

January 8: Fahrenheit 451. Ray Bradbury's novel is brought to the screen
with all it's imagination intact. Set in a future electronic age, all books are
banned.

January 22: To Kill a Mockingbird. This highly acclaimed motion picture is
based on Harper Lee's semi-autobiographical novel set in a small
Southern town.

January 29: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In order to survive, Arthur Dent hitches a ride on a passing spacecraft. He discovers that everything
one needs to know can be found in one book. The novel's author is
Douglas Adams.

February 5: War of the Worlds. We follow one American family who is
fighting for survival against all odds as Earth is being invaded by war
machines from another world. Starring Tom Cruise, this is the retelling
of H.G. Wells classic.

February 12: Frankenstein. The most famous horror film of all time. When
Dr. Frankenstein attempts to create life out of the organs of dead bodies,
a grotesque pitiful monster is born. The novel is by Mary Shelly.

February 19: Field of Dreams. Against all odds, Ray Kinsella, a simple
Iowa farmer finds the courage to believe in his dreams to play baseball.
Adapted from the novel Shoeless Joe by W.P. Kinsella.

Create a Recipe Book--Tuesday, March 13, 5:00-6:30
Using the recipes from the Read It and Eat series, we will create a book
of recipes to sell. Proceeds will be used to buy books for the Teen Central
area. Open to Teen Advisory Board Members.

Pysanky--Tuesday, April 3, 5:00-6:30
Laraine Unik will be offering a class on Pysanky, Ukrainian egg
decorating. Kits will be supplied. Open to Teen Advisory Board Members.

Awards & Planning Meeting--Tuesday, May 8, 5:00-6:30
Look ahead to the 2007-2008 program year and reflect on all the fun that
has been had this year. Open to Teen Advisory Board Members.
